Chia seeds

Chia seeds have a long shelf life – they are best before two years from the date of production. To maintain their freshness and high quality, we recommend storing the product in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight. Optimal storage conditions are a temperature below 15°C and a relative humidity not exceeding 50%.

The chia seeds are packaged in sturdy, safe packaging made mainly of polypropylene, kraft paper or polyethylene, which comply with Regulation (EC) 10/2011 on materials in contact with food. This ensures that the product remains free of contamination and completely safe for the consumer. We offer a variety of packaging options: from small packs of 20 kg to large volumes such as 1,250 kg, as well as the possibility to customise the pack size according to the contract.

The product on offer is widely used in the food industry and in a healthy diet. They enrich breads, bars, desserts and beverages, providing fibre, protein and omega-3. They are popularly used in smoothies, salads, yoghurts and puddings, as well as in vegan and gluten-free foods as an egg substitute or natural thickener. Their neutral taste and nutritional value make them an ideal ingredient for modern cuisine, meeting the needs of today’s consumers and producers.
