Turkey Meal
Turkey Meal is produced from fresh turkey by-products or carcass obtained in slaughterhouses. Skin, feathers, feet, heads, and bones are collected from turkeys slaughtered for human consumption. The raw material is later heated, cooked, dried, pressed, and finely ground.
Technical aspects
Turkey Meal is an excellent source of highly digestible and palatable protein for domestic animals. It has around 60% protein content and around 13% of fat. The Turkey Meal product also contains vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants as well as riboflavin responsible for enhanced absorption of nutrients. The final product is a homogenous, light brown meal.
Storage period
The shelf life of Turkey Meal is 8-12 weeks.
