Lactose-free skimmed milk powder is made from pasteurized skimmed milk from which lactose has been removed by filtration and enzymatic hydrolysis. The product is in the form of a powder with a white to light cream color. It is characterized by a clean and pleasant taste with a slight hint of sweetness.
