Technical aspects
Ammonium bicarbonate is a white crystalline powder formed by mixing ammonium bicarbonate and an anti-caking agent. At temperatures above 60°C, it completely decomposes, producing ammonia, carbon dioxide and water vapor. The dissolution is accompanied by an endothermic effect.
