Foodcom S.A. strengthens ties with China – launch of dedicated website
Summary
Table of contents

We are proud to announce the launch of a new Chinese version of our website. This strategic move is aimed at strengthening relations with Chinese business partners and emphasizing our commitment to developing cooperation in Asian markets. The new version of the website recognizes the Chinese partners we have been working with for years. This will facilitate access to information on products and services, while providing a better understanding of the needs of the local market.

In 2023, China was the European Union’s largest trading partner for imported goods, accounting for 20.5% of total non-EU imports. In addition, China ranked third among EU export partners, accounting for 8.8% of total non-EU exports. These figures show how important the Chinese market is for European companies. With the growth of the Chinese middle class and the increasing demand for high-quality food products, there are huge opportunities for European exporters. The EU is actively pursuing more agri-food exports to China, which further opens up new prospects for companies such as Foodcom S.A.

“We have created something personalized for our partners in China, showing our commitment and readiness for further cooperation. We are excited about the opportunities that will arise from strengthening our presence in China. Our new website will be an important tool to support these activities.” said Lukasz Klazynski, Board Member, Partner, Head of Chemicals.

Shanghai Trade Fair

In June this year, our team participated in the prestigious CPHI China 2024 trade fair in Shanghai to demonstrate our commitment to the Chinese market. The trade fair was an excellent opportunity to establish new business contacts and strengthen existing relationships.

“Our presence at CPHI China 2024 enabled us to strengthen relationships with key partners and gain valuable insights into the rapidly growing Chinese market,” commented Artur Rutkowski, Senior International Trader.

Future plans

We plan to further invest in expanding our presence in the global market. We are actively working on new initiatives that will cover other key markets around the world. In this way, we want to provide our partners with even better access to products and services and support them in achieving business success.

Future projects include, among others, the development of dedicated online platforms for different markets to better meet local needs and expectations.

Discover more on our new website and see how we can support your business in the Chinese and global markets!
