Foodcom S.A. offers frozen blackcurrants for B2B customers — IQF (Individually Quick Frozen) fruit, carefully frozen to preserve its natural properties. The product is ideal for further processing, fruit preserves, and catering applications.
Technical aspects
Frozen blackcurrants (varieties include Tisel, Titania, Ruben, Ben Lomond) have an intense color and flavor typical of ripe fruit. Up to 3% of dry, broken, or crushed fruit, less than 1% of unripe fruit, and up to 5% of cracked fruit are acceptable. Stalks and small plant debris may be present in quantities of up to 5/10 kg, larger debris – max. 1/10 kg. No rotten or burnt fruit or foreign matter. The product is GMO-free, non-ionized and does not contain allergens.

Storage period
12 months from the date of production, when stored at a temperature below -18°C.
Packaging
The product is packed in crush-resistant cartons with blue adhesive tape and a blue polyethylene film insert suitable for contact with food.

Frozen blackcurrants are used in:
