Foodcom with BRC Agents & Brokers certification

Foodcom S.A. has again received BRC Agents & Brokers certification, achieving the highest rating AA. This formally confirms that the company meets the highest standards and operates in accordance with best practices.

BRC Agents & Brokers, a global standard developed by the British Retail Consortium, is aimed at companies that provide purchasing, transportation or distribution services for goods in the supply chain. The AA rating in BRC A&B certification is the result of a thorough assessment that considers a number of key areas, including risk management, quality control systems, supply chain security and emergency management.

With more than a decade of experience, Foodcom is one of the leading trading companies. Brokering transactions in global markets and delivering hundreds of thousands of products per month to customers around the world, we are a key element in the food chain. Compliance with all EU and national standards is therefore essential for a company with such an established position. Moreover, the highest rating we received during the audit gives our customers an indisputable guarantee that they are dealing with a trustworthy business partner that meets the highest quality requirements,” says Paulina Szajuk, CFO at Foodcom S.A.

The certification confirms the implementation of the requirements of the BRC Global Standard for Agents & Brokers, which significantly opens up cooperation with food companies certified under the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety. The BRC standard has been recognized by GFSI, the Global Food Safety Initiative, the world leader in food safety certification. It is required by retail chains and local and international distributors. BRC also introduces a type of discipline in dealing with quality issues. It creates an awareness within the organization to provide a quality product by complying with all food safety standards.
