UHT Milk

UHT milk is a milk that undergoes Ultra-high temperature processing which is a food processing technology that sterilizes liquid foods. It is done by heating for 2-5 seconds in the temperature above 135 °C (275 °F). This is the temperature needed to kill bacterial endospores. This process ensures that the product is sterile. 


The UHT milk which is packaged in aseptic containers and is not opened, has a shelf life of up to nine months.
