Edam 40% FDM

Edam 40% is a semi-hard cheese that originates in the Netherlands. It is named after the town of Edam in North Holland. The cheese is characterized by a slightly salted and hazelnut taste. Edam’s taste grows stronger with maturing. The cheese is flexible throughout the mass with a soft flesh. Oval round holes are the size of rice to pea.

 

Edam is one of the most popular cheeses in the world, it is available in many various types, with different fat content ( most popular are 30%, 40%, 45%) or shapes.
