Turkey meal

Turkey meal is produced from fresh turkey by-products or carcass obtained in slaughterhouses. Skin, feathers, feet, heads, and bones are collected from turkeys slaughtered for human consumption. The raw material is later heated, cooked, dried, pressed, and finely ground. The final product is a homogenous, light brown meal. 

 

Applications

 

Turkey meal is used as an ingredient of premixes in pet food products.
